Job Summary

EDAG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Plant Operations team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Vice President and other senior management staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President, including preparing agendas, attending meetings, and taking minutes.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and make hotel reservations as needed.
  • Communicate with German counterparts and executive offices, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Coordinate the daily calendar, ensuring important dates are marked and potential conflicts are avoided.
  • Perform filing and record-keeping duties, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide knowledge and assistance to other staff members, ensuring smooth operations and effective teamwork.
  • Prepare and coordinate the flow of communication, ensuring timely and accurate information is shared.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of work experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in an Administrative Assistant function.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Plant, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
  • Excellent Power Point and Excel skills required.
  • Preferred Skill - Good language skills in German.
