Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze job orders and interpret associated prints and drawings.
  • Choose materials, processes, and machinery necessary for designated tasks.
  • Configure and fine-tune fabrication machines, including necessary programming.
  • Operate laser cutting equipment to produce various components and structures.
  • Oversee machine functionality and output to guarantee quality standards.
Work Schedule:
  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Thursday 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Compensation:
  • Starting pay at $24.50 with Premium
Qualifications:
  • Fundamental understanding of metal fabrication and forming techniques.
  • Proficient in operating procedures for fiber optic laser, CO2 laser, drill/mill, lathe, saw, press brake, and turret as required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend job specifications, shop drawings, and blueprints.
  • Competence in intermediate mathematical calculations related to metal fabrication.
  • Awareness of properties of structural metals and related materials.
  • Preferred: Three or more years of relevant machine operation experience.
