About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Residential Support Professional to join our community-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and implementing individualized plans to enhance the learning process of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive learning environment and develop strategies to help clients cope with daily living situations
  • Implement Individual Plans of Care and document client progress
  • Monitor medical and behavioral changes and report to supervisors as needed
  • Administer medication to clients at prescribed times
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the house and properties
  • Conduct self in a professional manner when interacting with clients, supervisors, and community members

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate organizational ability and experience communicating with persons with developmental disabilities
  • Possess self-motivation and a willingness to learn about current issues in the field
  • Have a valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation
