Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily and monthly financial activities across various locations. Collaborating closely with the Regional Finance Manager and the Corporate Finance team, you will ensure a smooth month-end closing process while providing support to the regional teams in their daily financial tasks at the Service Centers, which includes managing invoicing, accounts payable, job costing, payroll, and more.

  • Execute the month-end closing procedures, which encompass journal entry processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Partner daily with the Area General Manager to inform business decisions and enhance efficiency and profitability in financial and operational processes.
  • Engage in travel up to 25% to assist Service Center personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Finance Manager to aid in financial planning and analysis for the Service Center, including the development of the annual budget.
  • Mentor the Service Center Finance team on job costing, inventory assessments, accounts payable, labor entry, and expense reporting.
  • Conduct Ad-Hoc analyses to facilitate data-driven decisions aimed at increasing sales and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a managerial accounting role is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and month-end closing procedures.
