Executive Director of Tax Services

KPMG is a leading professional services firm that provides audit, tax, and advisory services to organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Director of Tax Services to join our Closely Held Business/Family Office Tax Services Organization.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the growth and development of KPMG's Closely Held Business/Family Office tax practice, both locally and nationally.
- Provide strategic, operational, and financial guidance to family offices and private-equity backed businesses.
- Lead tax compliance and consulting services for multi-generational family and private-equity backed businesses, as well as owner-managed and fast-growing start-ups.
- Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge tax-related developments, legislative, and regulatory changes affecting family offices.
- Participate in market and business development activities, identifying and pursuing new client service opportunities in collaboration with KPMG's Audit and Advisory practices.
- Contribute to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of the Closely Held Business/Family Office tax practice team members.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum twenty years of recent focused flow-through entity and family office tax consulting experience in an accounting firm, organization, and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent.
- Demonstrated track record of business development, with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external client relationships and help build new relationships with key targets.
- Experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams, as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information.
