Your Role: As a Junior Technical Service Engineer, you will embark on a journey to cultivate the expertise necessary for the maintenance, installation, and repair of SCIEX products at various customer locations. This position operates under the guidance of experienced professionals, including a manager and senior engineers, allowing you to grow your skills and perform tasks independently as you progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant products and customer support.
  • Conduct high-quality preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments.
  • Independently perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as logging service activities and expense reporting.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis, or scientific instruments is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring mobility.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical technologies, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with potential overnight stays.
