About the Position

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in facilitating enrollment programs with current and potential international partners. This position is responsible for maintaining positive partner and student relationships, developing and implementing non-academic components of structured enrollment partnerships, and managing the non-academic operations of international partnership creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership Development: Identify new enrollment partners, design and implement partnership development strategies, cultivate and maintain institutional relationships, and draft new agreements and renewals.
  • Student Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent student support related issues, manage student inquiries, implement China 1+2+1 orientation, and develop budget, programming, and events for students.
  • Program Management: Manage visiting delegations, work closely with GEO and IEP student staff to reserve rooms, set agendas, coordinate communication, and oversee visit logistics.
  • Communication and Outreach: Strategize and implement outreach, marketing, and recruitment for enrollment programs, review website content, photos, brochures, and all other recruitment materials, and communicate regularly with the Office of International Admissions.
  • Supervision: Supervise part-time student staff, manage student worker job descriptions, and oversee applicant review and hiring processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with international students and/or international education programs.
  • Experience with program or project management.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural competency and/or foreign language skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Considerable experience with program or project management.
  • Experience with partnership management and handling agreements.
  • Experience in higher education or a research university environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to process and handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to process information.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
