Pediatric Oncologist Role

We are seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatric oncologist to join our established and busy practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our comprehensive program offers a wide range of services, including child life services, providing activities, socialization, therapy, and other support for children and their families.

About the Position

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established and growing healthcare system with a strong focus on pediatric care.

  • The position involves working in a 21-bed unit that cares for patients with PICU, CVICU, and pediatric hematology and oncology inpatient population.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to pediatric patients with cancer and blood disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric oncology.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues, patients, and families.

Your Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric oncology and hematology.
  • Patient-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
