Fundraising and Events Coordinator

About the Role:
Homes for Our Troops is seeking a highly motivated and organized Fundraising and Events Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for planning and executing special events, cultivating relationships with donors and sponsors, and developing strategies to increase fundraising efforts across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new fundraising opportunities and partnerships
- Develop and implement fundraising plans and strategies
- Coordinate and execute special events, including logistics, marketing, and sponsorship solicitation
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community leaders
- Manage and maintain accurate records of fundraising efforts and donor interactions
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising, events, or a related field
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software
