The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management, with 3-5 years of experience in conference planning, catering, audio visual, and facility management.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team: As a Conference Operations Manager, you will oversee the administrative processes associated with event planning, including pre-event and post-event phases, as well as transitions between all event phases.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the department, including budgeting and capital spending allocations.
  • Guest and Employee Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of guest and employee satisfaction by managing financial performance and developing operational programs and initiatives.
  • Client and Community Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the community, continually assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  • Safety and Compliance: Manage compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes, maintaining all associated records and reports.
