  • Public Safety Response: Receive, process, and disseminate calls for service efficiently, ensuring a timely and effective public safety response.
  • Initiative and Judgment: Independently initiate action consistent with existing policies and procedures, utilizing sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including typing correspondence, reports, and documents as required.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other assignments and duties as required and/or necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED from a U.S. accredited school.
  • Age and Citizenship: Must be at least 18 years of age and a United States Citizen or Certificate of Naturalization.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license or state-issued I.D. (Must be Texas issued by hire date).
  • Background Investigation: Must pass an extensive background investigation, TB skin test, and drug screening.
  • Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass pre-employment testing and demonstrate essential job skills.
  • Availability: Willing to work different shifts to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
