Public Affairs Specialist

As a Public Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in shaping the Army's public image and communicating its message to the world. Your primary responsibility will be to research, prepare, and distribute news releases, articles, and other media materials that showcase the Army's activities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and gather information on Army activities and personnel
  • Develop ideas for news articles and feature stories
  • Write and edit news releases, articles, and other media materials
  • Conduct media training and interviews
  • Supervise and assist in the administration of Army public affairs programs
Requirements:
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • Be between 17 and 34 years old
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • Have no Major Law Violations
  • Have no Medical Concerns
