Position Overview:
Wells Fargo is in search of a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager (LO) to enhance our expanding Small & Business Banking division. This position is dedicated to fostering customer relationships within a designated local market through proactive engagement and relationship-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, onboard, and cultivate account relationships with Small Business clients, specifically those with annual revenues ranging from $1MM to $10MM.
- Evaluate and analyze moderately complex financial data to identify customer needs, recommending a diverse range of financial products and services to promote their financial success.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cash flow and the operational cycles of small businesses, and how our offerings can support their growth.
- Drive the success and expansion of an assigned portfolio by deepening relationships with existing clients while effectively managing associated risks.
- Collaborate with internal small business partners and stakeholders to resolve moderately complex customer issues and achieve business objectives.
- Engage in prospecting activities, employing targeted strategies to generate new small business relationships.
- Participate in and lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the small business sector, contributing to broader efforts aimed at enhancing customer relationships and driving business growth.
- This LO role involves customer interaction and may include assessing needs and referring clients interested in secured products to a SAFE team member, without taking applications or negotiating terms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Banking or a combination of relevant work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience managing a portfolio of clients with annual revenues between $1MM and $10MM.
- Strong understanding of deposit and cash management solutions.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and excellent communication abilities with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to balance client needs with the associated risks and interests of Wells Fargo.
- Over 3 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
- Established connections within the local market.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services sector.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
Job Expectations:
- This position requires regular visits to customers and prospects outside of branch locations within the assigned market.
- Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) roles must comply with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification standards and Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility and background checks.
