Team Overview:
About the Team:
The Accounting and Reporting division is responsible for managing the general ledger and overseeing the month-end closing processes.

This team engages in various accounting initiatives, providing technical support and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including the preparation of financial statements and coordination with external auditors.

To foster collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, our organization currently operates on a hybrid work model, requiring team members to be present in the office three days a week, or as directed by their supervisor.

This model is subject to regular review, and specific requirements may evolve.


Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting Expertise: Cultivate relationships with external accounting service providers to guarantee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages. Support monthly closing activities and execute quarterly reconciliations. Prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure statutory audits are completed within established timelines.
  • Compliance and Standards Adherence: Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, applying group accounting policies, procedures, and internal control practices. Generate ad-hoc reports for applicable regulators and Group Finance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Support quality control functions to ensure adherence to appropriate accounting standards.

  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, understanding their implications on financial reporting. Employ advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • ERP Systems Management: Leverage experience with large ERP accounting and reporting systems, preferably Oracle and HFM, to enhance financial processes and ensure reporting accuracy.

  • Independent Work and Attention to Detail: Exhibit self-direction, motivation, and a strong capacity for learning, enabling independent task completion with meticulous attention to detail. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently and effectively. Analyze complex accounting issues and process inefficiencies, recommending potential solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong collaborative communication skills, fostering teamwork and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or accounting.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS and their application in financial reporting.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-directed, self-motivated, and possessing a strong ability to learn. Capable of working independently with meticulous attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong and collaborative communicator, capable of effective interaction with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Experience in public accounting preferred, supplemented by in-house experience in the TMT industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with large ERP accounting and reporting systems, particularly Oracle and HFM, is highly desirable.
