Job Overview

Ubisoft, a prominent player in the video games and entertainment software sector, is in search of a Global Events Coordinator to join its Global Publishing Events team.

This position will report directly to the Director of Events.

The Global Events Coordinator will oversee the comprehensive execution of both live and virtual Central Publishing events, including consumer trade shows, press and creator preview events, and various mainstream activations.

This role is crucial in coordinating global engagement hubs and ensuring that support and consistency are maintained across all global events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary global events lead, managing all facets of worldwide event strategy, budget management, and operational execution for assigned brands.
  • Create exceptional live and virtual experiences for global audiences that enhance engagement and fulfill event goals.
  • Collaborate with global engagement hubs, cross-functional teams, brand marketing, production, and operational units to ensure that event objectives, attendee experiences, and operational excellence are achieved at all events worldwide.
  • Design and implement event processes and tools, including budget trackers, project timelines, production schedules, event specifications, and onsite tracking documents to ensure consistency across the global network of engagement hub events.
  • Provide direct support for publishing-led events that necessitate live and/or virtual assistance, which may involve onsite pre-production, live event management, remote gameplay oversight, and staff training.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with vendors and both internal and external partners.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and tracking for return on investment analysis.
  • Assist with additional events for publishing teams, including major global initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in event management, a creative and strategic approach, excellent project management capabilities, and outstanding organizational and time-management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders.
