Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Electrical Group at POWER Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will lead and execute electrical power components of industrial and government projects, working closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify low and medium voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, and special systems for industrial and commercial facilities
  • Perform all electrical engineering tasks associated with projects, including proposals, design and drafting, engineering calculations, cost estimating, client reviews, and construction support
  • Work as a team with multiple discipline leads, PMs, and others to manage all electrical efforts for the project team while supporting the needs of other disciplines
  • Mentor junior or mid-level electrical engineers and designers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Professional Engineering License with the ability to be licensed in additional states
  • United States citizenship
  • Extensive experience in the design and specification of low and medium voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, and special systems for industrial and commercial facilities
  • Strong foundation in design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with cross-disciplinary team members and clients
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food & Beverage Industry experience
  • Prior Consulting/Engineering Services experience
  • Prior experience with capital projects as a direct employee of a manufacturing company
  • Project management experience
  • Autodesk REVIT experience a strong plus
