Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to join our team at NMSU's Graduate School. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the allocation of scholarship awards, including internal Graduate School scholarships and state-funded scholarships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the scholarship budget and track allocations
  • Facilitate in-state tuition coding and process payments for invoices, purchase orders, and FLIPs
  • Conduct budget monitoring for the Graduate School, Education Abroad, Passport Services, and ISSS offices
  • Provide administrative support to the Graduate School, ISSS, Education Abroad, and Passport Services offices
Requirements
  • Four years of experience related to the standard duties as outlined
  • Knowledge of general business principles and/or procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Banner, Aggie Mart, and Scholar Dollar systems
