Indirect Agent Development Lead

Job Summary

The Channel Manager is a key role within Consolidated Communications, responsible for building, managing, and growing a specific base of indirect agents. This position requires a high level of activity with agents and the ability to manage sales relationships that have no direct reporting structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers and agents to answer inquiries and generate sales, developing excellent client rapport and attending sales calls with assigned agents.
  • Prepare quotes for new and uplift contracts, actively targeting growth opportunities within the indirect account base.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota, successfully managing assigned agent sales funnels and writing adds, moves, and changes for customers.
  • Proactively and regularly meet and provide communication to customers and clients, training agents on CCI products and processes, and setting expectation levels with agents for sales objectives and paperwork accuracy.
  • Assist in acquiring new agent agreements and provide support for assigned agents, performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent in experience.
  • 3+ years technical sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain self-motivation, excellent presentation skills, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, telecommunications and/or data experience preferred, and sales persuasiveness.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
