Position Overview

Swedish Health Services is inviting applications for our RN MedSurg Fellowship. This fellowship program is designed to equip registered nurses with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in their chosen specialty. Participants will benefit from a well-structured curriculum, hands-on simulation training, and real-world patient interactions under the guidance of experienced preceptors.

Available Specialties:

  • Oncology
  • General Surgery
  • Gynecological Surgery
  • Nephrology Surgery
  • General Medicine
  • Orthopedic Medical-Surgical

Work Schedule: Full-Time with variable shifts available.

Incentives: A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet the specified criteria:

  • Med Surg and Telemetry: $15,000
  • All Other Departments: $10,000

Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association within six months of hire
  • PALS Certification from the American Heart Association within six months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification within six months of hire
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience (new to specialty)
