Educology Solutions is in search of a Senior Data Integration Specialist who will take charge of architecting and implementing processes that convert data from diverse origins to target systems, effectively communicating insights to relevant stakeholders, clients, and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outline all critical duties and responsibilities in order of significance
o Address intricate ETL-related technical challenges, recognize potential problems, resolve them, and ensure tasks are completed successfully and on time.
o Comprehend processes and protocols, advocating for their application among all project participants both within and outside the ETL team.
o Guide fellow team members in areas of expertise, ETL processes, and standards while actively participating in code evaluations.
o Keep management informed of project challenges; escalate issues promptly and seek assistance when necessary.
o Manage multiple concurrent assignments, prioritizing ETL tasks to guarantee all are finalized on or ahead of schedule.
o Design, test, oversee, and implement ETL packages and applications in accordance with team standards.
o Innovatively resolve complex challenges.
o Optimize and troubleshoot ETL applications.
o Conduct standard ETL administrative tasks such as deployment, package migration, and metadata management.
o Prepare ETL packages for deployment across development, testing, and production environments, adhering to all Release Management protocols.
o Automate processes wherever feasible.
o Participate in the on-call rotation.
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
o Strong analytical skills in a SQL environment utilizing T-SQL.
o Proficient in ETL design and development using the Microsoft BI toolset, particularly SSIS and T-SQL.
o Solid database knowledge with the ability to query complex datasets.
o Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
o Commitment to adhere to organizational policies and values.
o Ability to maintain attendance to support the required quality and quantity of work.
o Uphold confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
o Capacity to establish and sustain positive and effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, members, providers, and customers.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in ETL design and development.
5+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL.
5+ years of experience with databases utilizing SSIS and T-SQL.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Business Intelligence certification(s).
