Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute HR initiatives that support Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement, including onboarding processes, orientation for new hires, compensation assessments, and compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Analyze data to develop effective solutions and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Enhance employee and managerial performance by diagnosing issues, evaluating potential solutions, and guiding managers through the implementation of selected strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by monitoring legislative changes and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Create and disseminate HR-related communications that align with company branding and policies.
  • Oversee all administrative and operational HR functions, aligning them with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through educational opportunities and networking within professional organizations.
  • Support the formulation and execution of updates to personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist leadership in setting objectives and systems that advance the company’s mission.
  • Address and resolve employee relations matters effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making processes.
  • Exhibit strong listening skills to understand employee concerns at all levels.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all employee and organizational information.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Lead special projects as required.
Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with over seven years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience in plant-level HR and employee relations is preferred.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to executive leadership with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback across all management levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms; experience with SuccessFactors is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and Office 365.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25% of the time.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is required.
