FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY

The Breast Imaging Specialist will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Evaluates the patient's physical condition and specific needs based on age.
  • Provides clear instructions to facilitate patient cooperation and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conducts accurate patient identification, gathers clinical history, and ensures precise documentation of all information.
  • Positions patients and equipment appropriately, adjusting technical parameters to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Reviews diagnostic images for technical quality, proper identification, and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Implements radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks to patients and staff.
  • Utilizes Radiology Information Systems to track exam progress, ensure accurate coding, and retrieve reports efficiently.
  • Applies sterile techniques for procedures in accordance with established policies and provides medical assistance in emergencies.
  • Understands and adheres to Quality Control standards, actively participating in related tasks.
  • Employs standard precautions and personal protective equipment to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
  • Effectively utilizes all corporate Radiology computer systems.
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of all patients and visitors.
  • Maintains consistent and punctual attendance in line with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Complies with all organizational policies, departmental guidelines, and educational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS-

Breast Imaging Specialist

FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY

Candidates for the Breast Imaging Specialist position must meet the following qualifications:
  • Experience in producing mammograms and assisting with mammographic procedures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing routine diagnostic radiography as per departmental standards.
  • Ability to complete mammography patient history forms with clarity and precision.
  • Capable of keeping patients and their families informed about progress and any delays.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Active state registry license and certification in relevant imaging technologies.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from a recognized provider.
  • Proficient in the English language, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Basic computer skills to fulfill online training requirements.
$31-48/hour
