Job Summary

Russo Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Heavy Civil and Utilities Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel to ensure successful project completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Direct and supervise all field personnel to achieve completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to assigned plans and specifications.
  • Read and interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
  • Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment using measuring and marking equipment.
  • Maintain construction schedules, identify and solve problems, and order materials as necessary throughout the process.
  • Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
  • Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of phases of the project, including a final punch list.
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
  • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
  • Ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy.
  • Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office.
