About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Construction Supervisor to join our team at Ervin Cable. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our aerial and underground telecommunication construction crews to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety in completion.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to crew members, establishing clear project execution plans and ensuring compliance with predetermined project deliverables.
  • Ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing response plans to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Implement and maintain processes to support task completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven supervisory experience in telecommunications construction, with a strong understanding of aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and telecommunications construction equipment.
  • Ability to use cable placement equipment and tools, with a keen eye for identifying and troubleshooting problems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's degree or advanced training in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs, with experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
  • Authorization to work in the United States, with a successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
