Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time Mechanical Project Manager to oversee various projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives. Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the safe execution of all projects by adhering to company and client safety regulations.
  • Estimating project costs using standardized processes and tools.
  • Leading project planning and implementation, clearly defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Creating comprehensive project plans with timelines.
  • Assembling and managing project teams.
  • Developing and overseeing project budgets.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and training staff, as well as conducting performance evaluations.
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Implementing project changes and interventions to meet desired outcomes.
  • Conducting project closures with reviews to ensure quality and adherence to project scope.
  • Formulating strategies to enhance business in designated areas and fostering positive relationships with clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or 3-5 years of project management experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a project management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and a strong commitment to safety in industrial settings.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of using hands and arms to handle or manipulate objects.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifting heavier items with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipment.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
