Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Planner to join our team at Flad Architects. As a key member of our healthcare planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive healthcare planning strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement master plans for large, complex medical facilities, working closely with clients to understand their needs and goals.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and consultants to deliver projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
  • Conduct user meetings and needs assessments to develop functional and space programs, guiding client expectations and ensuring the planning team articulates the client's vision and goals.
  • Prepare and present project plans, reports, and other documentation to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective project management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for approaching potential clients and preparing presentations.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to provide project support and ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in healthcare planning, with a strong background in master planning, programming, and developing large, complex medical facilities.
  • Broad experience with complex inpatient, ambulatory, diagnostic, and academic medical facilities, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in marketing, analytics, and client engagement a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to healthcare facilities, including IBC, ADA, ANSI, NFPA, and FGI Guidelines.
