Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Administrator, you will perform a variety of tasks such as:
  • Heavy daily data entry
  • Entering invoices into accounting system (100+/week)
  • Assisting with credit applications and prequalification packages
  • Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • New project setup
  • Awarding vendor POs and subcontracts, including entry to accounting system and document tracking
  • Filing, copying, scanning, report printing from software
  • Taking notes at meetings and typing minutes
  • Maintaining subcontractor insurance certificates, certified payroll, lien releases, and compliance
  • Managing project folders and vendor files
  • Maintaining and updating equipment log

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative or public works construction administration is required. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
