We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct repairs and maintenance on all machinery to meet safety and environmental standards.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment, including components of trucks, trailers, and forklifts, such as engines (diesel and gas), transmissions, and various systems (brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic).
- Inspect mechanical equipment and diagnose malfunctions effectively.
- Manage maintenance scheduling and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the annual certification of the forklift safety and training program for operators.
- Adjust, clean, and lubricate mechanical device parts as needed.
- Order replacement parts and equipment for shop operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or two (2) years of equivalent work experience.
- Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions.
- Proficient in fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- General warehouse experience is required.
- Capable of performing duties in various weather conditions with considerable physical exertion.

- Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than five (5) years of experience in a related role.
- Technical certification or an associate's degree may be required.
- Certification in the maintenance of internal combustion engines (diesel and gas), gear trains, brake systems, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations and assisting with compliance is advantageous.
