- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping and cleaning floors, cleaning produce and deli departments, and organizing the store mop room.
- Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards set by Food Lion.
- Understand and adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
The Quality Assurance Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent walking and standing. The associate will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds. The associate will also be required to work in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
