About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer Vascular Specialist to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Institute, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasounds, including carotid, venous, arterial, and renal ultrasounds.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in the training and education of students and staff, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
  • Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.
  • RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography certification.
  • CPR certification.
