About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Electrical Project Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing electro-mechanical microprocessor-based products for the critical environment airflow control industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new product designs from initial concept to manufacturing release
  • Develop detailed design plans and specifications based on functional requirements and budget constraints
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate project-related activities to ensure timely completion
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design tools to perform engineering tasks efficiently
  • Develop test specifications and carry out design verification testing to ensure design meets performance requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-compliance and agency compliance testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in product development and design of electronic and/or electro-mechanical microprocessor-based products
  • Experience with integration of color LCD touch-screen displays into product design
  • Experience designing products with RS-485, Ethernet, USB, and wireless communications
  • Experience designing products with ARM-based microcontrollers
  • Specific experience designing with the NXP LPC1700 Series 32-Bit Microcontroller and STM32 is highly beneficial
Preferred Skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, Visio Technical, Mathcad, Labview, Schematic Capture Software, PCB Layout Software, and Embedded Firmware Development Tools
  • Embedded software development using C, C++
  • Working knowledge of closed-loop control systems using feedback process variables such as airflow, pressure, and temperature
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging electronic-based products and systems
  • Experience with ultrasonic sensors
  • Experience with BACnet MSTP and BACnet IP
