Main Responsibilities

The primary duty of the Culinary Support Specialist is to ensure the kitchen and dining areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.

Dining Area Duties
  • Thoroughly clean all surfaces, including tables, counters, and window sills.
  • Daily sweeping and mopping of floors, with bi-weekly waxing as required.
  • Ensure all condiment dispensers are stocked before and after meal services.
  • Assist in various roles within the dining facility as assigned by management.

Daily tasks may include wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing, and restocking supplies as needed.

Physical Requirements

This role involves repetitive motions and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Candidates must be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 pounds.

Additional Responsibilities

Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential. Other tasks may be assigned by the Dining Hall Manager or Project Manager as necessary.

Essential Functions

Under the guidance of the Food Service Manager and Lead Supervisor, the Culinary Support Specialist will:

  • Prepare food service areas and portion meals according to instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist in serving food and maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and techniques.
Qualifications

Experience in food service and customer interaction is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-directed, and a team player with strong communication skills.

Work Environment

Employees may encounter moderate to loud noise levels and varying weather conditions while performing their duties.
