Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and enroll research participants, ensuring informed consent and adherence to study protocols.
  • Collect and manage data using computerized interviewing tools, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide HIV counseling and testing, as well as referrals to care, in a sensitive and compassionate manner.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement data collection strategies, ensuring effective outreach and engagement with study populations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, with a focus on data quality and integrity.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education may be substituted for experience.
  • Two years of related experience, with a focus on research or data collection activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized and vulnerable groups.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic communications, with a focus on data management and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with research or data collection activities, with a focus on community health projects.
  • Maryland HIV pre- and post-test counseling certification.
  • Experience with computers and data collection technologies.
  • Prior experience working with study populations and/or other diverse populations.
