American Battery Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to lead our production team in Springboro, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and production of battery systems to meet customer requirements and expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Production Team: Supervise and train production operators to ensure efficient and effective assembly and production of battery systems.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and ensure that all products meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary materials are available for production.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to corporate, federal, and state employment policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Preferred manufacturing experience, with knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
