Role Summary: The Space Management Coordinator will oversee daily operations related to interior space design and project support for staff. This role involves managing cubicle and office layouts for relocations and assisting in the selection of standard and custom furniture items. You will also establish furniture configuration standards and monitor distribution throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish furniture standards for the effective planning and management of workspaces, including cubicles, offices, breakrooms, and meeting areas.
- Assist with intercompany relocations by creating or updating CAD drawings of existing and new layouts, ensuring all necessary supplies are accounted for.
- Collaborate with local vendors to obtain quotes for relocation services and supplies.
- Work closely with the Workplace Solutions team to finalize approvals for space usage, desk layouts, and furniture requests.
- Engage with various teams to assess space and design requirements, providing updates to facility management as needed.
- Adapt to project priorities and be available on-site as the primary contact for vendors and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of facilities management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in design consultancy, corporate interiors, or workplace operations.
- Familiarity with the technology sector is advantageous.
- Proficient in space planning, user research, and design strategy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 and experience with facility management software.
