Key Responsibilities of the Cashier:
  • Welcome customers at the cashier station with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Calculate customer bills accurately.
  • Process cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; document amounts received.
  • Provide change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Facilitate refunds or credit invoices for returned items as directed by management.
  • Conduct daily cash drawer reconciliations.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding services rendered or products purchased, or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Manage customer complaints with professionalism and tact, referring dissatisfied customers to the right individuals for resolution when necessary.
