About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is a leading equipment rental company that prides itself on delivering exceptional service to its customers. As an HVAC Technician 3, you will play a key part in our team, responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls
  • Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment, training authorized operators on safe use and operation
  • Direct customers to sign necessary paperwork, keeping track of serial numbers
  • Successfully troubleshoot and understand the operation, function, specifications, capabilities, and controls of any piece of rental equipment
  • Operate company vehicles safely, following all company safety policies
  • Clean and test returned equipment, ensuring operation and appearance meet standards
  • Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls
  • Install flexible gas hoses on propane and natural gas applications, implementing proper and safe procedures for gas connections
  • Work with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records and tracking of in-stock and rented equipment
  • Be available for emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Must have an HVAC Certificate, recognizing formal training and state-licensed ability to work on refrigeration systems
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to work some after-hours and weekend shifts during peak times
