Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a per diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.
- Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, as well as patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
- Requires a minimum of two years of RN Operating Room experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
- Active unencumbered RN Indiana state license.
- One year of Epic experience.
- Operating Room RN circulating and scrub experience.
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) experience.
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
