Job Title: Early Morning Stock Associate

Job Summary:

The Early Morning Stock Associate is responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized store, expediting merchandise receipts, and merchandising items according to company best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment by maintaining awareness of the sales floor and correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, and provide prompt and efficient responses to customer inquiries.
  • Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
  • Represent the company brand at all times and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and replenishing restroom supplies.
  • Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency and merchandising all items according to company best practices.
  • Understand and adhere to the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, and merchandise protection standards.
  • Follow all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card, and refund transactions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative, and pleasant manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC as required.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

The Early Morning Stock Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions. The associate will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the store. The associate may be exposed to dust, cleaning chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
