Retail Sales Associate

Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations, including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the intermountain west.
Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Point of Sale Clerk at the IFA Country Store in St. George, Utah. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, operating a cash register, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Process cash transactions and operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers in a friendly manner and responding to their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area, including the cash register and surrounding area.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
- Work closely with co-workers to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for long periods.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Agricultural background and experience are highly desirable.
