Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Re-entry Services Coordinator to join our team at the Institute For Human Services. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Re-entry Program Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the program and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management and administrative support to the Re-entry Program Manager, including maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Assess the needs of program participants and develop service plans to support their transition into permanent housing and employment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Re-entry Program Manager to ensure timely communication of program information and coordinate with community partners as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external documents, including contracts, grants, and memoranda of agreement.
  • Manage projects and tasks assigned by the Re-entry Program Manager, including interfacing with other program managers as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of administrative experience or executive assistant experience in a busy office setting; experience working with disenfranchised or medically fragile populations preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Google email, Microsoft applications, and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Office Management Certification.
  • Three to five years of executive administrative experience providing support to multiple executives or experience in a busy business setting.
  • Project management experience, including establishing target goals, budget, plans, and timeline.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or Human Services environment.
Work Environment

This position operates in a professional indoor environment, with occasional contact with persons served, including those affected by domestic violence, child abuse, substance abuse, mental illness, ex-offenders, and the medically fragile.
