We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Engineer to join our team as a Test Engineer in the Radar Cross Section (RCS) Test Engineering Team at Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in electromagnetic engineering and testing to design, plan, and execute RCS/LO testing for individual programs in a lab environment. Key responsibilities include test planning, configuration, data collection, and post-processing, as well as collaborating with design engineering for hardware and test improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Antenna Test Engineering support for RCS test facilities.
  • Configure, mount, and test LO test articles.
  • Troubleshoot radar system and data analysis issues during test.
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
  • Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a BS/MS degree in a STEM field and 2-5 years of relatable experience. Additionally, you must have active US Secret Level Security clearance and be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis. Experience working in a RCS test facility, configuring and mounting products, and using overhead cranes and mobile elevated working platforms is preferred.
