Electronics Systems Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electronics Engineer to join our B-2 CSAG team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems for defense and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop communication, flight controls, navigation, radar, avionics, power, and electrical systems architecture, components, circuits, and products.
  • Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies to recommend component substitutions or re-design solutions.
  • Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
  • Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of programs.
  • Support process improvement and establishment.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Generate reports and present to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, or a master's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
  • Experience with test planning at the circuit card, equipment, and system level.
  • Experience with nuclear hardened systems.
  • Experience with embedded software development and/or cybersecurity.
  • Experience conducting analysis of electrical components within aircraft maintenance programs, determining effectiveness, and creating written recommendations for increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools.
