Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Generis Tek, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising technical and non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas.
  • Functional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, technical discipline areas in which department is licensed, specimen collection, specimen processing, and specimen referral testing.
  • Responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities in areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates skill required to supervise, teach, and motivate staff.
  • Review and approve payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests.
Requirements
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required.
  • ~5 years' experience as a Medical Technologist.
  • ~Current Client Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License required (LICENSE MUST BE IN HAND TO BE CONSIDERED).
  • ~No Travel Required.
