About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Meat Product Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut, prepare, display, and sell meat products with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of different cuts and cooking techniques of meat and seafood.
  • Monitor product quality and freshness, adhering to WFM quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of market conditions and communicate this information effectively to customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members through excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • 14+ months retail experience, preferably in a meat department environment.
  • Succinctly completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training program.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong passion for natural foods and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
