We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Flik Hospitality Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas, as well as assisting with food preparation and serving.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces, removing trash and placing it into designated containers, transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assisting with banquet table and front of the house set up.

You will also be responsible for loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product, distributing supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed, and complying with outlined sanitation and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
  • Remove trash and place it into designated containers
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up
  • Loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
