About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ICU setting.

Job Summary

The ICU Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education on disease management and treatment options.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to make sound judgments regarding patient care, taking into account medical research, established protocols, and individual patient needs.
Requirements
  • RN licensure in California
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
