**About the Role:**
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at the Wailuku Medical Office. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to patients/families in the Mixed MedSurg/Tele Unit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $123,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
**Responsibilities and Qualifications:**
- Provide professional nursing care and services to patients/families
- Delegate nursing tasks to nursing assistive personnel and provide direction as needed
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver care and perform any task requiring nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills
- Administer medications and teach LPNs and nursing assistive personnel special tasks of nursing care
- Verify staff competency to perform special tasks of nursing care and ensure quality of nursing rendered
**Additional Information:**
This position requires one (1) year experience in the area of specialty or completion of a formal course in the area of specialty within a designated period of time after hire into the specialty. Specialty areas include Operating Room, Emergency Department, Telemetry, Intensive Care Units, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Cardiology, Ambulatory Treatment, Diagnostic Imaging, and Oncology.
