About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and services to patients and families in our unit. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care, directing licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistive personnel, and delegating tasks according to legal and regulatory guidelines. You will also utilize the nursing process to deliver care, perform tasks requiring nursing knowledge and skills, administer medications, and teach LPNs and nursing assistive personnel special tasks of nursing care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Basic Life Support OR CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification
  • Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 3 months of hire from American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with electronic medical records
  • Minimum one (1) year experience or completion of formal course in area of specialty
  • Coursework in basic EKG
