Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting skills, excellent organizational and analytical abilities, and the ability to create and maintain a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-End Closings: Contribute significantly to month-end closings with strict deadlines.
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations: Responsible for all balance sheet account reconciliations and reviews.
  • Year-End Audits: Assist with coordination and completion of year-end audits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements and report on month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, and year-over-year variances by summarized income statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Error Investigation and Correction: Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Reporting Requirements: Various month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements.
  • Transaction Recording: Ensure transactions are recorded in the proper account and other proper reporting criteria (department, project, location, etc.).
  • Payroll and Accounts Payable: Record and allocate payroll, manage accounts payable transactions.
  • Cash Management: Record, reconcile, and report cash transactions on a daily basis, along with other treasury management responsibilities.
  • Fixed Assets: Execute full management of fixed assets, including maintaining fixed asset records and full-cycle recording of fixed asset transactions (e.g., capitalization, depreciation, retirement, etc.).
  • Department Projects: Complete assigned training and department projects, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Senior Level Experience: 3+ years of senior level accounting experience.
  • Quality Criteria: Ability and willingness to inspect and/or review the deliverables of others, up to your level of expertise, according to applicable defined Quality criteria.
Additional Qualifications
  • Accounting and Finance Principles: Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Microsoft Excel: Strong knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Initiative and Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
  • Confidentiality: Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • NetSuite and CPA: NetSuite experience a plus, CPA license a plus.
